Traveling requires preparation to stay on track with health and fitness. I learned that if I don't plan ahead with my supplement routine for travel I won't be 100% committed while away. I have gone on a few trips where I didn't take stuff with me and I could tell a big difference in how I felt and showed up at the gym. They don't sell all my favorite supplements in travel packets, so I use a mix of my top 3 companies right now. (Transparent labs, Cleansimple eats, and lmnt for hydration) I have been exploring thorne supplements lately thanks to @jake_bendicion and @drroddymcgee @ortholasvegas and so far they seem to be effective. So I'll look into options they have for travel packets too! We are each uniquely built and not all supplements work the same for each person. It took me a lot of trial and error to find the ones that were most effective for me and my rehab and fitness journey! Supplements can truly provide an added benefit on the health, fitness , and/or rehabilitation journey. It's super important to make sure you discuss things with your doc/pa if you're having or have had surgery and on other medications. (Added bonus if you find providers like @ortholasvegas that are supporters of supplements!!) Super thankful for all the options out there that can support muscle growth and function, especially when you have lifting restrictions. Adding in @smarttoolsusa BFR cuffs for strength training w/supplements can really bring muscle strength and growth, even if you can't lift much! @edlecara has reasonably priced 5 day bootcamps to help you learn how to best utilize any version of the smart cuffs. You will absolutely gain more than what you paid! He is so humble and loves sharing anything he knows to help others!! What are some of your favorite supplements? Have you ever had a period in your life you couldn't lift or had specific restrictions? What things have you found helpful to gain strength and continue to pursue your health and fitness journey? |
